*These policies have been prepared in substantial conformity to the statutes published in the Arizona Revised Statutes, as amended, updated to include the revised sections from the 56th Legislature, 1st Regular Session. The next update of those statutes will not take place until after the conclusion of the 56th Legislature, 2nd Regular Session, which convenes in January 2024, and these policies will be updated accordingly. Also, to the extent that conformity to regulations of any particular school board or of any state agency is at issue, the relevant regulation should be consulted for interpretive guidance.
